One group will go into their area to play. I will sit at the table with some word blocks and I will ask the child to spell one of the rhyming words they have seen posted on the word wall. This will be after their writing the children will sit at the table write their name first then I will ask them to spell out their name and spell out a word from the word wall and once the child has completed this assignment they can go into their area to play. In each area I have the ball posted and I have put ball materials in those areas so the children can play with it. The dramatic play area has a bowling set, the block area has smalls balls and paper towel tubes, the water table has water balls, the art area has picture of different kinds of balls so they can draw or paint their favorite ball and the play dough area is open for the children to make their favorite kind of ball. The children in my class where I am employed at there are some children who are advance and some children need extra help. So I would take the advance children first and let them do their work and send them off to play in their areas. With the children that need the extra help I will sit and work with them. I have noticed if you push a child they will get frustrated and shut down and say, “I can’t do it” so I let the child do what he/she can do and just encourage them to do better the next day. By me doing this I have notice the children are now more eager to sit down and complete their work or they ask to do their work before going to play. I grade their paper and correct any mistakes and I make them aware of their mistakes and ask them can they correct it and they
