Early Childhood Dance/Movement Psychotherapy

Chapter nine was talk over how Dance/Movement Psychotherapy in early childhood treatments. For the period of this chapter they discussed three different case studies that involved children from the ages of 2-five years old. When reading the case studies I was unclear on what was the actual problem because they gave very slight information. For example the case study with Francesca who was just three years old, and did not move for 24hours. She is hooked up to several tubes through a port on her chest. The therapist started out putting a tango song on with a medium tempo. Francesca began to bounce her leg to the rhythm, the therapist began to clap her hands to the tempo if the bouncing of her leg.
