This assignment will identify and address the diversity found within a typical early childhood mainstream classroom of the specific subject area, English. The educational needs that will be presented in the early childhood case study will be the focus areas of diversity, these are, English as a second language (ESL), culture diversity, challenging behaviours and learning difficulties. Educational strategies will be presented to support successful access and participation in curriculum for all children in the class being mindful not to label the children and to deliver learning opportunities according to their needs to improve learning. Will also support this by the relevant policies and frameworks from educational government and state documents.
