Early Century Literary Movement

Throughout the early century there were various intellectual movements that were connected to the aspect of literature on how the way writers would use these movements to express their feelings on how they want their readers to view their aspect of life of how they view it through their eyes and thoughts.These literary movements help these writers and poets in the early century to give a more deeply insightfully literature to their readers. Movements such as the Enlightenment and the Romantic movements, as well as Modernism, American Gothic, Southern Literature to name a few.

It was alleged that during this period that the Romantic movement changed the insight of people completely, especially the writers in the terms of their surroundings and also generates the tenets of classical liberalism in the literature of Romanticism. This movement also influenced the ways how these writers characterized their general crafting style of their free verse way in their works.This movement has also helped individuals see the beauty of nature and the way how ideas are related through the eyes of these writers. The way how it shows such impacts in the form of creative endeavors, art, and writing that celebrated the nature and the spirit of the individual. It was alleged that through this movement the human experience and material things are considered to be not as real as the spiritual things and thought which was considered to be more real. The American Gothic movement was considered by the gothic writers of that century to be not as optimistic as what everyone thought it to be, but instead they create their own version of what the gothic is to them. The gothic to them was more like horrific supernatural filled with death and terror and ominous. They want every individual, including their readers to see what their belief of gothic is from their point of view. So ever since that time the genre of gothic keeps showing up through the literary Western history all over through the vision of every gothic writers of that time in many diverse features of grotesque
