One way to rectify this in the digital reality of 21st century would be to join the first generation of knowledge companies that provide content, analysis and solutions in the global information marketplace.
As of this writing, there is no distinctive leader in the sphere of education solutions that would provide both general and specialized information pertaining to all aspects of education. Any knowledge-driven entity (policymakers, government agencies, textbook publishers, educational institutions, curriculum developers, and individuals worldwide) could be perceived as a potential client who will prefer the expertise of an established global leader over an unproven counsel of a local consultancy or think tank. A service that would provide data and customized solutions on a variety of challenges of any size seems to be a perfect match with one of ETS’ core values - - helping students learn and teachers teach. I propose that best education ideas are on the Rosedale Campus and innovative solutions should be sought not just around the nation, but around the world. When Henry Chauncey, inspired by the first Sputnik’s launch, traveled repeatedly to the Soviet Union to study its education system, it was viewed as a revolutionary (no pun intended) approach to science education reform. Today, commonly referred to as “edu-tourism”, such practice is widespread within the European Union. For instance, some high schools in Finland get visitors so frequently, the education ministry had to designate full-time staff handling school visits by foreign politicians. As learning grows increasingly international, the key modernization processes, best practices and the core methodologies of quality delivery system become almost universally applicable. The socioeconomic factors, or funding schemes and governance in different countries may vary, but the principal objectives to improve instruction and increase student learning as a whole are universal to any genuine education
