Although coming into a whole new setting was a challenge in itself, trying to embody the vision was even harder. I came from a school where mistakes were looked down upon everything had to be 100.10% perfect or you were the black sheep of the bunch; But coming into EPAA I was taught that biggest weapon I had was my mistakes and the ability of being able to come back from them.This skill is called resilience, I feel like now in the position that I am in I can apply this to the outside world and in my everyday life. So If I was asked how do I embody the EPAA vision I would say yes and no. No well because, I am not academically eligible to graduate (according to everyone) but, yes in the sense that all the skills I have learned and embodied I can apply to my own life and the outside community to make a positive difference in someone's life.
