The New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund provides financial support for a small graduate program. The objective of the graduate EOF program is to increase participation in graduate and professional study of New Jersey residents from backgrounds of historical poverty. Students who received EOF grants as undergraduates shall be given priority consideration for EOF graduate grants. These students are presumed to have met the financial eligibility criteria for graduate EOF as long as they continue to demonstrate financial need. Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are a co-curricular and integral part of many CTE programs. CTSO programs compliment CTE courses and are student-centered clubs, which provide unique opportunities for participants to explore careers and develop their leadership skills. Well known CTSO programs include DECA (business & marketing), FFA (agriculture) and HOSA (health occupations) to name a few. I recently came across the EOP job offer on Gaucho Link and it really sparked my interest. I’m applying for this job not only for the experience but also because I had a really positive experience with EOP. The transition from high school to college was definitely challenging however, all the resources offered to me definitely made it a lot easier.
