The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) is a group comprised of current and former black CEOs, board members and senior executives of Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies. According to Black Enterprise, the group started in 1986 and currently has over 500 members. The focus of the ELC is to increase the number and influence of black executives in the global marketplace while empowering black leaders to impact their regions and communities.
