Thus, the reason why AMG is considered a turn-key operation is that once a franchisee learns the system which is standardized through the operation manual, the business then runs itself. The perfect example for the success of the Franchise Prototype for AMG can be seen in locations available starting with Ottawa, then Toronto and soon to be in British Columbia. Following the franchise prototype, the success of the prototype is replicated at each AMG clinic regardless of the city with the same results because the system has been …show more content…
There are a couple of examples within AMG, of which I will list two that currently in use every day. The first example is Family Health Group (FHG) sign up process, where innovation is the scripts used within the eight triaging questions during every visit to promote the idea of AMG being a group practice and patients are able to any doctor regardless of which one they are rostered to. As for quantification, the number of rostered patient is used as an indicator of how well the scripts used are and how patients react to the scripts. Finally as for orchestration, it is the accumulation of the success found within the first two steps that will be used either to improve the process of rostering or to maintain current practice. The second example of Patient Portal can be broken down the same way. The innovation part is the idea of having a Patient Portal where patients can have control over their access to health records, along with standardizing registration process, from paper to tablet. Quantification can again be measured by how many have full access to their patient portal and the success of the scripts used to register patients. Lastly, orchestration collects the results from previous two steps and acts on the result by either changing or maintaining the process. The orchestration in AMG is conducted by the President, with the Managers
