Identify its customer value proposition, its revenue model, the marketspace it operates in, who its main competitors are, any comparative advantages you believe the company possesses and what its market strategy appears to be. 4. Also try to locate information about the company’s management team and organizational structure. (Check for a page labeled “the Company,” “About Us,” or something similar). 5. Write a 2-3 page report on your findings, plus any necessary appendixes (i.e. organizational charts, graphs etc.)

Ebay itself might be considered a competitor in a sense. Basically, any device that a person can sell to gazelle.com, they could also sell on their own on www.ebay.com. In all likelihood, in fact, they would probably get more money by selling their products on their own.
