E coli
Introduction
Escherichia coli are bacteria although this is a large group of a scientific classification. It includes a diverse classification of these types of bacteria. E. coli occurs in different forms or strains with most of these strains being very harmless. However, there are other strains that are very harmful and can cause one to be sick. Some of these strains can cause diarrhea and in most cases urinary tract infections (Ellerbe & Regen, 2012). Other health threats caused by E. coli include respiratory illnesses and pneumonia (Ellerbe & Regen, 2012).

Schools on the other hand have a role to play although their involvement may be limited due to lack of the necessary resources. In this case, it is apparent that interactions between all the systems are very important because they facilitate effective and responsive healthcare for children. In order for children and family to have a collaborative relationship with the systems that provide healthcare services, families must be involved. As the community systems strive to avail healthcare to children and families, in return families must also take the initiative to learn how the systems interact with each other. In pediatric healthcare, the most effective form of care is the Family Centered Care. Family’s involvement in healthcare enhances the possibility for successful outcomes.
