Dysphasia Definition

Medical terminology is crucial because some words sound exactly the same so a prefix or suffix off and it changes everything. A couple ones that can get confusing are Dysphagia and Dysphasia. These two words look and sound exactly the same but there is only a one letter difference. Dysphasia means difficulty speaking and Dysphagia means difficulty swallowing. Another example would be Palpation would means to feel with fingers and Palpitation means rapid heartbeat. They look the same but have two complete different meanings which could accidentally make you choose the incorrect answer. This one gave me the most trouble at first to remember Ileum which means last portion of the small intestine and Ilium which is part of the hip. Also Myc/o =
