While watching the movie “Capturing the Friedmans” I had come to the conclusion that the Friedmans seem like a very dysfunctional family. From the beginning of the film where David started talking about his family and ending it up with the mother Elaine where she stated that her husband was maybe reading the pornographic magazines to meditate, along with the conversation that were filmed among themselves during the whole court ordeal and that just confirmed my opinion that they were dysfunctional family. First, I feel that Arnold was partially guilty for child molestation, sexual abuse and child pornography. We could say that based on the evidence that the police had found on him at his home was only to charge him with child pornography
