Dynamic characters exist in all good stories; even though, the changes made could be small. Dynamic characters are very important to story advancement, without it all the characters would just be dull for the entire duration. Buck is an example of a big dynamic character, as the main character if Buck never changed the story would soon grow stale and boring. In the book Buck needed to change or else the story couldn’t go anywhere, for had Buck not changed he probably would’ve died very early on. At the beginning of the book, Buck was just a simple pet, but by the end he had grown to the customs of the wild, like sleeping under the snow and standing your ground: “ It marked his adaptability, his capacity to adjust himself to changing conditions,
