Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold will always leave a mark on Columbine High School because of the massacre of April 20, 1999. On April 9, 1981, Eric Harris was born and had an average childhood until he began high school. Eric did not fit in and was bullied constantly. On September 11, 1981 Dylan Klebold was born into a middle class family and also played little league throughout his childhood. Dylan was born in Wichita, Kansas and then moved to Littleton, Colorado. He was a decent soccer player and everything was good, but he couldn't find his place in Littleton. When the students would be walking out of the school that's when Harris and Klebold would start the massacre. The thing that was wrong with that was the bomb did not detonate so they had to carry out the attack by walking into the school and bassically shoot anyone in there way. When the students realized that this was not a prank they decided to take cover in the library but soon figured out it wasn't the best place to hide. The way that they boys walked around and killed people were very eccentric from witness reports.
The reaction of the Columbine shooting staggered the community of Littleton. What the people did not understand was why did Harris and Klebold do this to the people in the High School. The parents were unbalanced because of the response time of the police. Some people were inspired by the attack that they carried out an idea of the same idea of the attack.
