Dwight David Eisenhower Biography

Dwight was born on October 14, 1890 in Denison, Texas. He died on March 28, 1969 in Washington D.C. His was in the republican party and his term of office was from 1953-1961. He was the 34th president of the United States of America. His nickname was Ike when he was in the office. His vice president is Richard M. Nixon. Vice president Richard Nixon became president the same year Eisenhower passed away. Nixon was the 37th president of the United States of America. Eisenhower died from congestive heart failure at the age of 78.
Before Eisenhower was elected for president he lived in Texas. He went to school at United States Army War College, United States Army Command and General Staff College, United States Military Academy Preparatory School, and last but not least, Abilene High School.
