Duquesne University aims to live in the Spiritan tradition, built on serving others in order for students to fully enrich themselves in the Duquesne "spirit." I believe that service-learning, with its community-oriented focus and helpful guidance, is an excellent tool that the school uses to accomplish this goal of incorporating the Spiritan culture into students' lives.
