If you want to get in shape without working hard at the gym, you need to make considerable changes to your diet and exercise at home to burn fat and build muscle. You must choose the type of exercises that target more than one muscle group and joint at a time. Exercise bikes and treadmills can help you sneak in some cardio in your routine, however, to actually get in shape, you need to perform muscle toning exercises.
Using weights can help you build strength in the muscle and also tone them to give you a lean and toned look. You can use dumbbells, barbells or kettlebells for weight-training since all of them work in different ways and can be used in differed exercises.
