Dumb Law Essay
The law I chose is a very dumb law in my opinion. The law states that the only time a man can beat his wife is on a Sunday on the courthouse steps.
This law affects almost every married couple. This city law exists in Huntington, West Virginia. It still exists today. This law doesn't need to be made. It is really just common sense. Nobody should be beating their wives anyway. This law does protect society by stating that you can't beat your wife. The bad part is that is says you can only beat your wife if you are at a specific place on a specific day.
Finally, this law probably shouldn't have been made.
