I belong to the community of dumb blondes. This community is a shortcut created by society; an automatic indicator of people not worth listening to. Its members are capable, yet compliant. Smart, yet silent. They understand their heads ARE made for nodding, not thinking.

At first, I was confused BY my admittance into the community of dumb blondes. I never asked to join. I did not even know this secret society existed until I was told I was a member. UPON ACCEPTANCE, INTERNALLY I frowned, unable to comprehend what I had done to mark my incompetence. Eventually, I rationalized that if so many people saw I belonged in this community, I must have been blind to my own stupidity.
