It is, not mentioned whether Dukwane is native English or not, however, the text does indicate, that Dukwane is of African descent, judging by the first name, and as it says in the text, “If Barack can do it, so can I…” ’Later on it goes on as followed, “Well, they’re all loaded and white…” When Dukwane compares himself to Barack Obama, it could indicate that Dukwane has had his fair share of challenges in life, seeing he is a black person, living in a country where the majority are white people.
