Wishes do come true for Madeline Stuart, who has down syndrome, as she graced the New York Fashion Week for FTL MODA on Sunday. The 18-year-old lady did her best and strived so hard to be the model that she wanted to be.
The Australian teenager made her runway debut and totally nailed it as she effortlessly does the catwalk. She rocked three different outfits, including the casual wear multi-colored halter top paired with shiny purple shorts.
Her laidback look was matched with a white and gold platform shoes and her locks were pulled up into a messy bun. She also had face paint with blue butterfly design while holding hands with two male models whose body were covered with dark paint and large jelly fishes on their chests.
Lastly, Madeline donned “a futuristic bridal gown” with blue and gold details and “torn ruffle skirt.” Later, for the closing show, she walked with the two designers Hendrik Vermeulen and

Her mother, Rosanne Stuart, added: "She was great! I am so proud. She's pretty cute, isn't she?"
Madeline’s modeling career soar up when her fashion photos surfaced online and went viral earlier this year. It all started when she informed her mother that she wants to be a professional model and posted her snaps on her Facebook account in May.
"I don't want to stop Maddy from doing anything," Rosanne explained. Since then, she had multiple advertising campaigns and internationally acclaimed for giving attention to the cause.
"I think it’s amazing that she’s been given this opportunity. It’s a fantastic platform for us to get our beliefs across on inclusion and disability,” her mom added. Rosanne, too, revealed that she loves to be on the spotlight and love people’s attention thinking that “she’s pretty cool.” The matriarch also asserted that being a model is fun thing but it is only a medium for them to send the real message for everyone regarding her daughter’s
