Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the main characters presented, Mr. Utterson and Dr. Jekyll, who is also Mr. Hyde. This is how Stevenson presents his first place in the book where the first quote "it seemed natural and human" (Stevenson ). What can be implied through this would be that having multiple personalities is a normal thing. Stevenson also said, "Man is not truly one but truly two". This is because he knows that everybody has their alter ego, but what exactly is man an alter ego? It is the exact same thing as having multiple personalities. In other words, it is your other self.
