The developmental theory has factors expressed by theorist like Ivan Pavlov looking at classical conditioning and Albert Bandura looking at behavior modeling with social learning theory gives us an idea why this can be so. We could say that some people are conditioned to behave to think a specific way and in trying to change a behavior it might become challenging to introduce a change. Likewise a person who has learnt a specific behavior through their social settings. Even if one comes up a new idea and try to operate outside the box of what they have been taught or exposed to, it can become stressful and depressing. This does not mean a change is inevitable, it just goes to say that we will naturally revert to what we have learnt automatically and acceptingly carry out that act. Our ideas come from our experiences and the instructions given to us as we grow, enabling our resulting action. This trained behavior I believe can be improved by looking at our everyday behavioral
