James Maddison Wood once stated, “Education today, more than ever before, must see clearly the dual objective education for living an education for the making a living.” My goal to absorb all the education I have learned and Transition it too my career, and to make a good living for myself. Temple the University, home of the Leopard, is known for working at the hand of Scott and white. Which is a main Hospital for this area.
It is hard to choose a career path that is right for yourself. In order to find a career it is always a good idea to research a career that interests one’s self. Many people wonder how they will be able to afford it. However, what people do not know is that there is free money out there that students do not have to pay back. Such as grants and loans. Grants are money the government provides to college students that you do not have to pay back. Scholarships are a sum of money that is guaranteed to a student for their studies in college. Even though there is free money out there, it will still not cover for all expenses. The main thing people get to help pay for college are loan however the government controls the funding for how much a bank can is allowed to let a student to borrow (How). There is also things called PLUS loans these are additional loans that a person can get but it is based if their credit score meets to their loaners standards (How). In reality, loans are helpful but you end up having to pay them back eventually and they can charge interest to whomever they want to. Interest will make you pay more than the student intended to. All of these things will help students pay for college. However, you will have to have money for other thing such as living and books. Which eventually start adding up. It is required to take a TSI placement test prior to enrollment (Temple). One must also complete a pre-assessment activity. It is mandatory that all students get a meningitis shot. If a student does not have this shot, they will not be able to attend any College without it. You also have to be up to date with all the other vaccinations and they will need all immunization records prior to registration (Why). All first time students must go to Pre-Registration, orientation, and week zero (Why). Week zero is an additional week to prepare the freshman’s for the upcoming semester (Pre-professional). All these things are mandatory for every student who wishes to go to Temple University.
Temple University in known for their amazing medical field. The nursing program can range from 12 months to two years. 12 months to become a vocational nurse and two years to become a RN (Temple). Mos5t of this course will be held at Scott and White this is the top Hospital in this radius. This program will contribute to hands on training and give you real life experiences (Pre-Professional). They try to get all the students ready for their professional health
