Dual Enrollment Analysis

I took Dual Enrollment to experience how future college coursework would be like. I hope to learn how to write more organized writing assignments. In addition, I hope to build up my vocabulary. When writing, I enjoy how I can be open-minded. I can write how I feel and what I learned because not all of us have the same perspective when it comes to certain works of literature. However, I do not like when I start writing an essay and develop writers block. There is nothing that I am particularly worried about when it comes to Dual Enrollment. All in all, I hope this class will run

In completing the course English 112 at Robeson Community College, I have found myself with a new found understanding how to write various genres, and do them well. Newly, I have experienced the handling of opinion writing, research writing, and direct analyzation writing. These concepts greatly helped me achieve the knowledge of love in writing. This class had an overall positive affect on the individual I now am, and created a way in which I read an assignment, sit down, and promptly beginning work. In this class, aspects such as research, analyzation, and procrastination hit the closest to who I was before enrolling and completing this course.…

2015 Open Enrollment (ACA) Planned and Successful- Our plan was to be fully equip to answer all related questions about the Affordable Care Act. Unlike the previous two open enrollments, people are more aware of the tax penalty for not having health insurance. That being said, we anticipated those uninsured would make appointments prior to November 1st to ensure their spots during open enrollments. I think a high percentage on those who made appointments filled them.…

This form of learning gives myself and others a greater purpose than simply graduating. We are here to serve God; we are not learning for our own benefit but for God’s benefit. I thought that an English major was a massive waste of time, but I am now seeing how it has more value than I once thought. I would not have been able to see this without a Christian liberal arts education. It has essentially helped me understand society better and respect people in other disciplines and discourse communities more because I see that they are serving God in their studies just as much if not more than I am in my studies.…

This course has improved myself as a writer and has a critical thinker; with the essays that were written I was challenged to ask more questions and see the bigger picture on things and view a subject from all sides. I never wrote an argumentative essay before this course, so this course taught me what it was how to write one and what exactly I was looking for and what I would be able to improve on. I know there is still room for improvement, but taking this course has already made me a better writer from when I started. Writing argumentative essays would help improve many skills as an individual by learning how to approach important issues without taking a side and learning this would also help if a person was trying to prove a point…

Check with the school board for a list of tests required, since new tests are being added each year. These tests are not a requirement for private school students. Writing has proven to be a very serious struggle in my academic journey as a whole. I struggle with naturally choosing to write how I speak, and in an academic setting this proves to be very harmful to my grade. This un-academic style of writing cause me to make a 2 on the AP English exam when, if I would have simply taken my time and chosen to write more scholarly, I could have scored a far better grade on the exam and certainly would have been able to exempt English 1101. It is something I know I struggle with, yet I continue to do it. Furthermore, I believe enrolling in Professor Misty Soles English 1101 class truly helped shape my writing to a more collegiate standard.…

I took two classes for the summer of 2016, but the Interpersonal Communication class had me worried the most. I had a training with the army, and that required me to absence from school for two weeks. Unlike my other class, I didn’t have a chance to work ahead of the class with the instructor for the two weeks that I would be missing. Therefore, I was worried that I wouldn’t catch up with my classmates and end up failing the class. However, Ms. Anna was generous and extended the assignment due date for me; she even gave me an extra-credit assignment to replace the credits that I missed during my two weeks in training.…

This English class has been very helpful in my efforts to improve my writing abilities, but has also been very challenging due to there being a different median for every essay. It’s been a heavy work load especially this semester since I decided to enroll in five classes, but in the end it has been very beneficial indeed. I can’t say that writing essays has been one of my strong points but I believe that this course has helped me improve tremendously and it has also made me feel a lot more comfortable with my writing. While in high school I would usually write all of my essays a day before the due date a habit of mine that was very difficult to overcome, but now I have learned from my mistakes.…

Writing has always been a struggle for me for as long as I can remember. I find it difficult to put my thoughts on a paper, especially if I have to do it in another language. Some people think that as long as they can speak a language or communicate with other people, it is enough. However, these people are totally wrong.
