As the child of immigrants from Nigeria, I associate with two different community. In my Oklahoma City community, people educate themselves and have access to health and education readily. As well, the people in the various communities in the United States uplift and guide one another to ensure the best for their fellow community member. Contrarily, Nigerians fight constantly to receive appropriate healthcare and schooling due to the corrupt government officials hoarding recourses for their families. This issue relives itself, with time, but the effects harm the nation profoundly.
I believe the dual communities that I connect to taught me that the people around can hinder or improve your quality of life. Surrounding yourself with healthy,
