During my Fall semester of 2015 at Miami Dade Community college for dual-enrollment, I was studying for a chemistry final exam with several friends. We were all practicing problems and studying the material for the exam when I noticed some writing on the hands of one of my friends. I asked her why she would write on her hands, and she replied that they were “notes” for the exam. In other words, “cheat notes”.
She explained to me that she had difficulty memorizing some of the formulas and charges of elements on the Periodic Table of the Elements.
As soon as I realized that she was going to cheat on the test, I told her she really should not cheat. I explained to her that she could be caught and receive an automatic 0% on the exam, and second would be reported and ran the chance of being expelled. I told her she just needs to study harder with us and practice. …show more content…
Since I was in dual enrollment, I was the youngest person in the group, but I was still able to convince her that what she was doing was wrong and change her mind about
