Crickets are a very disgusting insect, when you have a box of them in your room you learn that they have a putrid smell. With the water putting moisture in the box, it mixes with their feces, putting out a horrible smell that is not present with dry cricket feces. About a dozen of crickets die each time, smelling the same as the feces. Filling the room, it smells like death, like when a dead animal has been ran over and rots slowly on the side of the road. The smell also has a mixture of feces in with it not as strong as the rotting wet crickets. This however, is not the only crickets are gross. When you step on one you can hear their exoskeleton crunch underneath your foot sending shivers up your spine. They are they color of feces
