Drunk driving has been a huge factor in everyday life. People have lost their lives because of other people who are careless and get behind the wheel while intoxicated. On August 30, 2014, Labor Day weekend, a tragic car crash occurred in Olney, Maryland. According to the 911 call, a Chrysler convertible crashed into a large tree off of Hines road in Olney, MD. After the initial impact, the car finally came to a stop on a grassy patch close to the Norbeck Hills Pool. The car was driven by seventeen-year old Austin Hall. No other car was involved in the accident. The teenage driver, under the influence of alcohol, lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the tree. This problem has been brought up many times to the general public.
