Every year there are hundreds of thousands of reports of drunk driving which leads to possible death and injury. Most of the time it’s death. At any time and any place someone can make the slightest of mistakes and could cost them their life. Teenagers my age don’t realize how precious our bodies are and how important we are for the years to come. We may not seem like were doing much now but in a few years, our generation plans on changing the world. I think one way for us to do that is by reducing the number of drunk driving car accidents in the United States. Well now there isn’t a next time for her. Every day seems to be a struggle for her from the moment she wakes up till she falls asleep at night, it’s a constant reminder of the mistake she made that night. Teens need to follow all traffic and road laws to help ensure that our society will be safe out on the roads. Drunk driving accidents are one of the top leading reasons for deaths caused to teens in the United States. It is our goal as the future generation to help reduce the amount of drunk driving accidents
Although drinking seems like the cool thing to do while teens are in high school, it’s really one of the dumbest things to do. This is because teens are pressured into doing something that they are not comfortable with. I mean the only people who should be comfortable with getting drunk are adults, such as your parents. Underage drinking can get some minors in serious crimes and can get on their permanent record which could stay with you throughout your life. This could possibly ruin chances of getting into a school you like or a job that you’re in need of. Studies showed that in 2011, there were 189,000 people under the age of 21 who had visited emergency departments due to alcohol use. This shows 43% of
