Doing drugs while pregnant presents many problems with the mother and the child. One reason why the mother would do drugs while being pregnant is that she was already addicted to the drug and or drugs before she became pregnant. Another reason on why she may do it is because she was peer pressured into doing it. The last reason is that she could be using the drug to get rid of her stress and problems at home if she has no other way to cope with it.
