The movie generally describes what these drugs were used for, but I had to do a little more research to get a full understanding. They were swallowed or ingested. From my understanding, it was once considered to be one of the biggest drugs in the U.S. It is a sedative and hypnotic drug and was used as a barbiturate substitute. They were originally imported from India and were developed to aid sleep. However, by 1984 the DEA eliminated Quaaludes from the U.S because of their high abuse percentages. They did not show him doing all these drugs at one time, but it can be assumed that Marijuana was smoked, Morphine injected, and Adderall taken orally. He gave an ignorant description of the drug, but by watching the rest of the movie you really understood the consequences of doing these kind of major drugs. His whole life fell
