Based on the studies reviewed, clearly there are several concerns regarding the prescription of psychiatric medications, and what conditions they are prescribed for. If tighter regulations are not made regarding the prescription of these medications it could result in one of two things. First, the general public may have availability to these medications and secondly, those who are suffering from major depressive disorder may not have the correct prescription of the medication or may not have it readily available.
