There are many rehabilitation programs in America for individuals who battle with a drug addiction and cannot stop. Alcohol and drug addiction is a serious matter and is difficult for individuals to quit. People with addictions struggle through life, which can lead to potential health complications or death. Fortunately, drug treatment centers were created for alcoholics and drug addicts who aspire to seek help. Therapist and other staff work with patients to help them quit their addiction, to obtain a prosperous life. The goal is to help alcoholics and drug addicts to overcome their addiction and to never use again (Barnes, 1988). Drug Rehabilitation Narcotics and alcoholic beverages are sold everywhere, adults and teenagers can purchase at any time. Whether individuals are selling drugs, or walking to the nearest liquor store for beer, drugs and alcohol have made a huge impact in the world for many years and has become a dangerous threat to society.
