Drug abuse has become a major ill in our society. Drugs destroy the lives of their victims in many ways.Drug abuse is death if you don’t find a way to get out of that habit. Understanding that Drug addiction is very deadly than maybe they will notice that they have to help themselves. Each body is different so drugs can hurt the body in a different way. However, it can still can kill you whether or not the body is different, because drugs are harmful.

Drug addiction is a preventable disease. However, “Some people are able to use recreational or prescription drugs without experiencing negative consequences or addiction. For many others, though, substance use can be an attempt to escape from problems in their lives and has much more serious consequences” (Shubin). Fact is that while you’re a teen (and even into your early 20’s!), you’re still growing and developing, and drug abuse during these years in particular can have a lasting impact. Drug abuse can kill more people than you think as a result it kills about 200,000 people each year or maybe even more. Drug abuse is something deadly that can damage your life because of the people not trying to look for help and finding better things to do rather than start drugs and going out and partying. Drugs make people feel good that when they keep using it, it slowly damages their liver, and brain.Drug abuse is a serious public health problem that affects almost every community and family in some way.
