Drug Abuse is an epidemic in the adolescent age group in the USA. Stronger synthetic “street” narcotics like Ecstasy, Inhalants and Prescription Abuse are being used by teens at an inexperienced and blooming age throughout America. Many teens that are addicted to these drugs aren 't going to notice the problem in their drug usage. Different types of narcotics usually makes the user relieve the stress of school, problems at home, disagreements with friends, and other pressures of growing up. The most commonly abused drugs among adolescents are Prescription medication Abuse, Ecstasy, and Inhalants. For example, Ecstasy is a synthetic “club” drug, which are used mostly for Raves (all night parties) and Parties. Inhalants are usually the first drug adolescent use. Additionally, Inhalants are an unstable substance that makes chemical vapors that are inhaled to have hallucinogenic episodes, or have mind-changing effects. Furthermore, Prescription Abuse is the usage of medication that is given to an individual not by a doctor, but a friend or family member for the sole purpose to get “high”. Drugs have been ruining the progress of those that use drugs and spoiling their future years, and parents, educators and other anxious adults aren 't pleased about the level of threat that prevail for teens using these illegal and abused drugs.
