Dropper Research Paper

The Dropper is an extraordinary ride unlike any other. As the coaster winds rapidly through Sherbert Park it presents breathtaking scenery as riders travel over and through Willow River in Hudson, Wisconsin. This mid-north roller coaster, constructed of metal, has four cars per train, holding six people per car. One train will be on the track at a time. The ride was designed to appear like a torpedo, featuring a point on the front car, and black cars with burnt orange outlines, and red flames painted on the sides. Riders, on The Dropper, will be held in by a lap bar and seat belt. The time length of this journey is roughly one minute long. The momentum the coaster has stored propels itself over the one hundred-fifteen foot high hill to a one hundred-thirty-seven foot fall on the other side. As people on the ride enter this freefall they travel through a tube that goes through a tunnel under the surface of the Willow River. River life can be seen through the clear walls of the container as they are underwater. While underwater they experience the highest air pressure under the surface than on the surface of the earth. After exiting the awesome underwater tube a little further down the river they fly up Johnson Hill, then circumnavigate around Fire Mountain with its waterfalls flowing down the rocks. Before and after the mountain travelers can themselves intersecting over top of Bass Pond. Bass Pond as by the name has roughly twenty large and smallmouth bass.The ride ends over a hill and next the breaks create friction and the ride acceleration to a stop. Sherbert Park encourages thrill seekers to ride the ride again or continue on and explore the rest of the park when the ride is over. The intercom system invites the riders to come back
