There will be some moments when you don’t know how you are going to make it, you will get discouraged and want to walk away but don’t quit”. “The sky is the limit”. “High school dropouts are 72 percent more likely to be unemployed as compared to high school graduates ("Research”)”. One of every ten high males who drop out of high school end up in prison or in a juvenile detention center. One out of every four black males who drop out end up being locked behind bars (Dillon). The dropout rate of student is up, which mean that the prison rate is up as well. Each student that drops out and, end up behind bars, are costing us Americans our hard earned tax money. A 2007 study done by Princeton and City University shows those citizens as a whole could have saved $209,000 in prison for every high school dropout (Dillon). Young female drop outs are nine times more likely to be single parents (Dillon). With all of the negative statistics about high school drop outs, student should want to do well, but some just don’t have the motivation to do
