Drones Technology Cons

Recently, the citizens of the United States have been introduced to a new technology called unmanned aerial vehicles also known as drones. This technology has become one of the utmost popular military equipment in the 21st century. According to Noel Sharkey, “battlefield robots may not change the character of war but they will change the way that wars are fought” (1). Drones have been playing a major role in the U.S. military and from the looks of it, it seems that this role will only expand. Though, the use of drones have slightly increase the number of civilian causalities in the country that the United States invade, the benefits of drones far outweigh these harms, therefore the military should continue to develop and use drones in modern wars.
The use of drone technology has brought both pros and cons criticism from civilians all over the United States. Drone technology will remain a highly controversial issue both domestically and abroad. Statistics show that over 87 countries own some type of investigation or attack drone to detect various kinds of surveillance either over their own territories or others. For example, countries such as Germany, France, Iran, China, Libya, and other programs that are being operated by companies, research institutes, and governments around the world. I believe that the reason other countries are developing drone technology is because it’s being used against them. Some countries are probably developing drones to stay competitive militarily wise, but I am sure that each and every nation will create technology that will only advance the use of drones. As many other countries are doing, the United States will do all they can to increase the technology that are used for drones. I know that at this moment the drone technology is far from perfection but in time it will
