Drones kill thousands of people every year. Source I states, “1,147 people in Yemen and Pakistan, including children, were killed in U.s drone strikes”. Drones shouldn’t be used in warfare because they aren’t reliable, kill innocent people, and can take away privacy.
Privacy can be taken away with drones. “We don’t want the government hovering over our cities and towns 24/7 and tracking everywhere that everyone goes” says Jay Stanley from source A. Drones have cameras and microphones that can spy on anyone and with the ability to fly no one can know. Drones can violate the fourth amendment of the United States and, later on, lead to more of our right being taken away. Drones are taking away our privacy.

Seemingly without end, the war on terror relentlessly continues, but has taken on a new form. No longer is the United States military committing ground forces on enemy territories, risking American lives. Instead they are utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles, better known as drones, remotely controlled from a safe location for precision attacks against terrorists. While it is clear that the use of drones have proved advantageous for military strategists, does an increase reliance on employing targeted assassinations strengthen the United States goals as a dominant world power and overall strategic goals in reducing terrorism? In a globalized world there will be a shift from a hegemony's strength of hard power to the influences of soft.…

However, the government uses drones to monitor ranches and patrol boarders, police officials are in the mist of using drones for surveillance, and then there an Attorney General who believes it’s not illegal for the government to use armed drones to kill terror suspects, even US citizens on US soil.
