Since the inception of drone usage, they have been used by the military for many tactical, surveillance, and strategic purposes. The use of drones in wars has helped America ever since the first usage in 1995. Drones are an incredible way to locate and track terrorist groups and fight wars off the ground. They have helped the United States locate some of the worst public enemies in the world and annihilate them. The use of predator drones has helped the United States in wars fought ever since the first use in 1995. The drone was conceived from an idea around 1849 when Austrians attacked the city of Venice, Italy with unmanned balloons that were equipped with bombs. Then, in the 1930s, the british royal navy developed the Queen Bee, a unmanned aerial vehicle (U.A.V.), that was then used for target practice(“Pros and Cons”). Another remarkable thing that they do is the can carry missiles or bombs and drop them without giving away their location (Byman). Even though drones are not very large in size they can do a lot of damage and at the same time fly under the radar and stay undetected(Estep).
