Introduction Following the current global social-political crisis and the increasing threats of terrorism, genocide and environmental disasters, it has become very important to use lawful means to analyze the privacy of individuals and organizations when and where required for the greater good of national/global security and protection of the environment from potential extremists. This paper will discuss the social and ethical justification for the FAA to mandate minimum privacy standards for the domestic use of drones.
