Since 9/11, the United States has been using drones in the Middle East to fight the war of terror. In the article “Machineries of Death” states, since 2004 in Pakistan alone, U.S. Drones have killed between 423 and 962 civilians, at least 172 of them children. However, this is not addressing the real problem against terror because the lives of innocent people are being sacrifice. The use of drones is a crude way of handling this problem for the simple reason that is wrong and inhuman. Target strikes are usually based on doubtful information, which creates more problems because it’s usually based on self-interest by the opposing time. “At Issue: Targeted Strikes” article notes, “that target strikes violate international law because they are being used outside of combat zones.” In Yemen, innocent women and children are being killed by drone strikes which U.S. official calls Al Quada or terrorist.
