Guy and girls, especially the young adult crowd, the FAA is not a toy. Government employees often times pass highly regulated test to secure their jobs. Gov employees are intelligent, and even when they're not, they put their heads together and outsiders don't have a chance. Be respectful and try not to become a person of interest. When you are a remote pilot either for fun or for work, you can be held liable for accidents or incidents. Hit and run is not an option. If any of your drone parts are discovered, it's highly likely the drone parts can be traced

Drone Insurance?

Do you need insurance? The answer is YES, especially if you're flying for work or business. Even the best pilots sometimes have incidents. (More on this later)

Getting insurance for drone flying for fun may not be necessary but is certainly a good idea for parents of young adults who want to fly their own drone. Insurance is a wise decesion. We have insurance for our cars why not our drones. Insurance can be extremely helpful if you navigate the stupid drone into yourself because you didn't have enough experience to stop it or to duct. Stuff happens (smile) If you're headed to the business end of the drone industry, clients will respect you more if and when you have sufficient liability insurance. It's a good business decision.

What's on the FAA UAS Exam?

The Actual FAA Test for USA includes 60 question. In order to pass you'll need to get 42 questions correct. You can download an example of the exam here The test questions are multiply choice and some questions may require the use of maps or charts. You'll have two hours to complete the exam with a 70% score in order to pass
