Male drivers are far more dangerous drivers than females. According to DMV.org, “…statistics tend to show that as a group, women are less likely to get into a car accident…” (dmv.org) Therefore car insurance for males is so much more money than females. Age is also a reason why insurance is more expensive. “Statistically speaking, more male drivers under the age of 25 are involved in auto accidents than women. This is the leading force behind the increase in auto insurance rates” (autoinsurance.org). The younger a driver is the more unexperienced and prone to accidents they are. Age also has to do with the factors of why car insurance is more.
