With little training or human input cars are able to learn about their surroundings and navigate through. Cars are now able to figure out ways through more unique driving scenarios. Eventually most things humans require to drive, for example lane markings or speed limits can be removed for self-driving cars. With a more autonomous car there will be less driving errors and drive times will be reduced. I think I will use this as logos because if we replace all cars with self driving cars, then accidents rates should go down and you will be able to travel around faster due to more open roads.…

Driver less cars are so much safer than human cars. In Ted Talks by Chris Urmson ,Urmson says “it [the driver less car] can be much safer than two driver assistance programs could ever be”, he also goes on to talk about how the driver less car sees and recognizes everything in the roads and yields to anything it doesn 't recognize. This car is such a good idea because the driver less car program would be safer than a human driving even with a driver assistance program because the car yields to anything it doesn 't recognize , unlike humans , and the car is created to recognize almost all of what goes on, on the road.…

Self-driving cars will not just bring safer and more efficient roads to society, but it will help push the research in artificial intelligence, alternative fuels, data security, and software design. This is due to the fact that self-driving cars implement all different areas of engineering, like mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering, which must all work together in order to create a self-driving vehicle. These systems created for self-driving cars will be able to be implemented into things like a space craft to automatically adjust trajectories and avoid debris, into robots to create digital views of the world around them and how to adapt to their surroundings, and even into medical equipment that would be able to travel autonomously throughout your…

Driverless car is a work in progress that is potentially important in technology where a computer would drive the car instead of a person. Tyler Cowen, professor of economics at George Mason University says, “The benefits of driverless cars are potentially significant. The typical American spends an average of roughly 100 hours a year in traffic; imagine using that time in better ways — by working or just having fun” (1). Cowen is sure that the transit system will work much better if people would use the system driverless cars. The first attempt at a self-driving car was in the 1950 's GM and RCA developed a automated highway using radio control for speed and steering. Magnets in the car followed a steel cable built in to the road and control towers had to manage all the traffic.…
