Mr. Thomas Driscoll, Director of Engineering, Parks and Public Works, highlighted the green space strategic initiative which included updates to strategic initiatives, action plan steps, current and ongoing maintenance and seeking feedback from Council.
Mr. Driscoll explained the Public Works repair order backlog and how it would change as orders are complete. He went over street maintenance that included stop signs, sidewalks, roadway lighting, tree trimming and mowing and street sweeping.
Vice-Mayor Kaufer asked if street sweeping had been focus on the major arteries/neighborhoods and was there a frequency schedule for their completion. Mr. Driscoll said street sweeping was done on a quarterly cycle and explained Abacoa and Shores neighborhood
