Drip Affogato Bar focuses the deluxe artisanal affogato dessert. Originally an Italian dessert that is a coffee-based and usually form a scoop of gelato or ice cream, top with gourmet toppings and freshly brewed expresso which has been poured. With the car window down, I could feel the touch of sweltering sun. Few tourists walked around and countless cars passed by on the street. I could smell the smoke coming from the vintage cars and brand new released cars crossing side to side. I could descry the astonishingly beautifully aged houses and buildings around my sight. It was then I realized that we need to get a parking spot, as with all the downtown haunts, we took about almost half an hour to get parked. Certainly, it was a hot and exhausting day for me, Pauline (my younger sister) and Jem (one of my friend) who just got out from school and were looking for a cold and sweet dessert with sole purpose of razing the stress plus the sizzling weather on this summer afternoon. Then, we walked for about five minutes from the parking lot (where actually beside the streets) and to our main destination. Lastly, we have found the ice cream-coffee shop on the seven-hundredth blocked of Carondelet Street. Thus, Drip Affogato Bar is pretty easy to locate within all the traffic and business of the street. The shop’s interior design has definitely caught my attention. Therefore, everything about the interior works well as a whole which makes the shop so simple and classy. The shop’s food and service is the entire package and that is why we come. I am a huge fan of ice cream (Matcha flavor to be exact), but when I heard about the ice cream plus the coffee I know it sounds the bomb! Their classic flavors are consistent, well-made but pricey. Then, I went to the counter and like a little kid who’s learning how to speak never had any word to say. I’ve never been there and it was my first time. Two ladies, wearing all black, in contrast to the whole color of the shop that is all white, except the long wooden rectilinear table bar that was connected to the wall. One of them help me and told me their specials. So, we tried their one scoop of four varieties ice cream (The Classique, Matcha-Matcha, Vietnamese Coffee, and Cookie Monster) plus with coffees on the side. Each served on the puny white bowls plus the gourmets on top, and placed them together on a small wooden chopping board. I started on the
