It was a dark night, you just finished your classes and walked along in a narrow alley. You tried to go home as soon as possible because you were so tired and just wanted to lay down. Suddenly, you smelled something that was extremely stinky, but somehow you started to secrete saliva. You slowed down your pace, just in order to enjoy the smell a little bit longer. Finally, you gave up your original thought and walked towards the source of the smell…Do you have an experience like that? Well, at least I have. And this particular food is called Stinky Tofu. Stinky Tofu is a kind of traditional food in China. Although stinky tofu appears in many areas in China; however, it differs from region to region. For instance, in Hunan province, stinky tofu is totally black and always be eaten with really spicy chili source. In the other hand, in some provinces like Zhejiang or Jiangsu, stinky tofu appears to be yellow or white and …show more content…
In the beginning, the odor was so terrible, and I didn't even think about eat this. However, I saw a lot of people lined up in front of the shop and waited patiently. In addition, some people even lined the second time when they finished their first order. As a result, I decided to make an attempt. When I performed I first bite, I closed my eyes tightly like I’m the princesses snow and going to bite the poison apple. I thought I was going to puke and may feel awful afterward. However, none of these happened, instead, it amazed me immediately. The surface was fully fried, so it gave me a sense of crispy. And I could literally hear the crispy sound when I chow. After the first bite, I could see the middle part clearly. It was white and steaming. The most amazing thing is I didn’t smell odor anymore, instead, I smelled a wonderful aroma and it fascinated me. Of course, in the end, I finished the whole set by myself. And since then, I fell in love with stinky tofu
